De kunstenaars Sohrab Bayat, Ad de Jong, Wouter Klein Velderman en Manuel Klappe zijn de initiatiefnemers van het grootschalige project met de no nonsense titel Beeld Hal Werk, in een oude Fabriekshal in Amsterdam-Noord. Als uitgangspunt voor deze show geldt primair een passie voor beeldhouwkunst.
Vanaf begin september openen de galeries hun deuren weer voor het publiek. Na twee stille maanden ontkurken de galeriehouders de flessen wijn en halen zij hun beste paarden van stal. Opvallend in deze feestvreugde: veel donkere, ernstige kunst. METROPOLIS M geeft een overzicht van de openingen.
